Looking for ideas on how you can help your child at home?

It is important to support children's development by allowing them to take responsibility for their belongings and grow their independence. Some out of school activities that we would recommend are:

  • Cleaning their room and making their bed

  • Helping with baking, dinner preparation and packing their own lunch

  • Going for walks in the local area

  • Playing on a sports team

  • Being creative

  • Helping others, such as charities or donating unwanted goods

These practical guides are a great starting point that let you know what you can do to support your child at home.
