Our learners are part of a hub. Larger than a single class, they include more than one home room and more than one teacher. 

In 2024 our hubs are - Poipoi 1, Poipoi 2, Poipoi 3, Hiringa 4 and Hiringa 5/6.

With the exception of Poipoi 1, our hubs consist of two teachers and between 29 and 45 learners. In Poipoi 1 we have five teachers and 70 learners spread across the year 0 and year 1 cohort. We are fortunate to have such great teacher to student ratios as we grow. 

A hub is around 1/6 of our learning building. Each hub has tiered seating, break out spaces, a variety of teaching spaces and access to a Maker space.

Hubs encourage collaborative teaching and learning, is an opportunity to meet and befriend more peers and provides options for learning in different ways with different people.
